Clasped Weft Join for joining non-felting yarns

Posted on December 15, 2022February 1, 2023 by Barbara W. Klaser

I came across a new technique that I can use immediately, and at the same time found another channel on YouTube to use as a resource for knitting techniques: ACTechniques at YouTube. They have a blog as well, at their website: Arnall-Culliford Techniques.

The Clasped Weft Join is similar to what I already do when joining a new ball of the same color, where I knit a few stitches with both yarns. But this is better, because it appears to keep everything more snug, and it can be adapted for color changes as well.

This is what I love about knitting. You can be doing it for decades and still keep learning new things. It’s all a learning process, so my knitting life changes gradually over time. Happy Knitting!
