A Canadian Flight Attendant Who Knits
The Knitty Stew is a flight attendant for a Canadian airline, and a seasoned knitter. Hers is a fairly new channel compared to the prior YouTube channels I’ve posted about, but she’s not new to knitting. In the few months that she’s been airing her podcasts, The Knitty Stew, Leanne Wilkinson, has drawn me into her knitting world, and since I found her channel, I’ve followed her with great pleasure. She’s introduced me, and all her viewers, to several patterns I’m itching to knit and yarns I’ve never tried, and shown me a part of the world where I’ve never been. In her job, she flies from place to place in Canada, and with her podcast she takes her viewers on mini-tours of the places she overnights.
Many of these tours feature places to buy yarn, places where yarn is made, or beautiful settings in which to knit. And of course she shares what she’s been knitting. She’s also introduced her viewers to some worthy causes. This is a channel I’ve begun to watch closely for new podcasts, and set aside time to view them, because I don’t want to miss anything.
